Sea water quality is an important factor as it affects the ecological balance of ecosystems. My project’s goal is to monitor sea water quality in real time by creating a device which is sealed in a container below the sea surface for a long period of time, responsible for gathering data and remotely transmitting them to another device which acts as a ground station that publishes the collected data to everyone. The quantities measured are the temperature, pH and turbidity because they are inextricably linked to many harmful phenomena in marine waters. The importance of this project lies in the fact that the monitoring of the measured parameters and especially their variation, evaluates the water quality but also timely identifies hazards or pollution at any aquatic system.
